poker night, things that suck

Boycott seems like the wrong word here.  Millions in poor countries are struggling with the increased cost of food.  While reducing the demand for rice is not necessarily the best way to fix this scenario, it is one way.

Jules and I are avoiding rice and rice products for (at least) the next 30 days.  We live in a country that has a bounty of grains (corn, wheat, barley), so your options are not very limited.

This means:

• no burritos (quesadillas and tacos are fine).
• no mass produced beers (Anheiser Busch is the largest buyer of rice in the US)
• no rice noodles either!
